One of the highlights of the annual conference, the Excellence in Craft awards ceremony pays tribute to the outstanding outdoor journalistic efforts of our active members. The best articles, photos, videos, books, illustrations and other works are recognized and awards are presented to the top entries. Through the courtesy of General Motors, cash awards for the top two entries in most of the categories are presented to the winners. Entry requirements are listed below: The submission form and a copy of the entry requirements are available here in PDF format.
Contest guidelines will be strictly enforced. All of the TOWA members are professionals and should be able to follow the guidelines to make sure everyone is competing on the same playing field.
Please note the new requirement that all entries must have been published, aired or distributed in Texas.
