This is Larry Weishuhn, not Sam Caldwell

Yesterday, I couldn’t spell WEBMEISTER. Today, I am one. Bear with me as we reinvigorate the TOWA site. Right now, you can participate by signing up and enjoying the 2020 TOWA Conference. Bring a spouse, a friend or just your interest in the great outdoors. I can guarantee you a fine evening around a virtual campfire with author, photographer, hunter and raconteur, Larry Wieshuhn.

Thanks, Sam Caldwell, Webmeister.

“The Outdoor Machine”

You are cordially invited to attend the 62nd Annual Conference of the Texas Outdoor Writers Association.  This content-rich event will include topics designed for both the new and experienced outdoor communicator, many opportunities for professional growth, networking with innovative thought leaders, and lots of opportunities to win cash and have some fun!

We will have a reception hosted by the Bryan/College Station Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Ride and Drive fun, and seminars that are dedicated to professionals explaining their niches in the outdoor industry. Speakers include the Host of TV program “DSC’s Trailing the Hunter’s Moon”: Larry Weishuhn, Jenn Nolan from Jackson Kayaks, product writer and reviewer Michael Bennet from SELLMARK, outdoor photographer Earl Nottingham, Wildlife Dir. Clayton Wolf from Texas Parks and Wildlife, and conservationist Reavis Wortham! In addition, you will watch Texas State Artist Sam Caldwell paint and complete a watercolor masterpiece– and you can win it as a drawing Saturday evening. You don’t want to miss it this year!
