What is it?
The Texas Outdoor Writers Association (TOWA) Annual Stampede was created to satisfy our supporting members. It’s an opportunity to showcase products and ideas to members and the public alike. Unlike the formal conference, the Stampede is an epic Texas-style party and sporting celebration!
Texas Outdoor Writers Association – 2026 Tenth Annual Fall Stampede Event Details
Location: Shaw’s Bend Social Club, 1173 FM 1890, Columbus, Texas
Dates: Saturday October 10 – Sunday, October 11, 2026
Set Up: Vendors and supporting members are welcome to set up any time starting a week before the event. Please join us for Karaoke and Potluck Dinner on Friday, October 9th starting at 7pm at Shaw's Bend Social Club

- Two Days of CASI Chili Cook-Offs
- Two World Senior Pro Bull Riding Performances
- Swap Meet-Style Gathering and Volunteer/ Program Signups for local non-profits (FREE VENDOR BOOTH SPACE FOR LOCAL AND NON-PROFIT, $50 for everyone else. Google sheet signup here)
