The 2021 TOWA Fall Stampede was another resounding success!
The event continues to grow and prosper as a recruiting tool for new members and sponsors. Thanks must be extended to everyone that stepped to bat when Herman was sidelined the first day. Thanks to the Sellmark Corporation, “Say I Can’t” Clothing, TPWD, CCA, D&C Designs, Mossberg, HENRY, NSSF, and the TOWA Directors, volunteers, and neighbors that stepped up and made the Stampede run without a hitch. This year’s addition with the Bohemian Classic Rod’n’Reel Colorado River Catfish Tournament added more than 35 contestants and their families to the Saturday night festivities. More than 40 bull riders competed in the World Senior Pro Bull Riding Competition, the Cook Off was again the spice that makes this event special, and the Texas Challenge Shooting Competitions were topped off with the Sunday morning Long Range Match being won with Columbus local resident, Phil Clark shooting circles around the competition. Next year’s Stampede is already shaping up to be bigger and better.
