Friday, October 11th-Sunday, October 13th 2024
Scheduled every October the TOWA Fall Stampede is the organization’s annual informal
party/event. Situated on 200 acres that abuts the Colorado River, the venue provides plenty of
room for fun. Whereas the annual conference is the time for awards, scholarships, craft
improvement seminars, and networking. The Stampede is also an opportunity to network but is
solely designed as a place for state agencies, manufacturers, and sponsoring NGO members to
showcase their efforts and wares. It is a time for revelry with live music, a Chili Cook Off, two
World Senior Pro Bull Riding performances, The Texas Challenge Shooting Competitions, and
the Bohemian Classic Rod’n Reel Catfish Tournament. It is likewise a time for fundraising
towards scholarships, as well as philanthropy for other selected groups. The TOWA Annual Fall
Stampede is a Texas Size Texas-style gathering of kindred souls and folks who appreciate the
outdoors and conservation.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
