Higher Calling Wildlife is seeking interns for its conservation outreach programs.

The two unpaid positions will require 5-6 hours a week working remotely on social media, reaching out to media and potential sponsors and helping with publicity strategy.

The term is 120 days and interns will get a letter of completion from the outreach and a great resume addition.

The first position is for Higher Calling Wildlife’s forest and mountain wildlife outreach.

“Higher Calling Wildlife has two programs we are working very hard on this spring and that is our Turkey Revolution and Sheep Scrapbook projects. Both of these kicked off in 2019 and have been met with success. We need someone to help us move it to the next level,” said founder and award-winning wildlife journalist and conservationist Chester Moore.

“If someone wants to work with a cutting-edge turkey project and something we believe will have a great impact on wild sheep conservation awareness this is a great opportunity.”

Moore also said the Higher Calling Gulf Coast branch of the outreach needs help with its two projects.

“Our Flounder Revolution project is well-established and has a new strategy and we need help spreading the word. In addition we have created the 21 Trout Pledge to help with speckled trout conservation in light of the recent freeze kill,” Moore said.

“If you have a concern for the declining flounder fishery and on what may happen to our trout in Texas after the freeze this is your chance to make an impact.”

Email chester@chestermoore.com with your name and phone number and which outreach you would be most interested in serving.

“We can do great things together for our wildlife and fisheries. I’ll be glad to share my knowledge of the outdoors industry, wildlife and conservation with the interns and help motivate them to achieve their outdoors dreams,” Moore said.
