Herman Brune’s collection of adventures is the third in a series. Home base for Herman is the Brune Land and Cattle Company ranch near Columbus, Texas. His stories encompass his childhood of the yaupon thickets of Colorado County and the wild country of Wyoming and Montana, where he guides pack trips for elk. Legendary writer Larry Weishuhn says of Herman; “He’s a purveyor of experiences and tales reminiscent of literary greats Russell Anabel, Robert Ruark and the wit of Patrick McManus.”
